Restoring Appetite

Cancer treatment or cancer itself may cause a change in taste and smell, which may affect your appetite and even cause nausea and vomiting. Even if patients are reluctant to eat due to these symptoms, they still have to get enough nutrition and water from food and drink. Here are some tips to help patients improve their appetite:

Use plastic or ceramic cutlery

It may be useful to avoid using metal cutlery because some people may be bothered by the metallic taste or bitterness.
